My Love

The pain you have left me in
Has been rarely seen
I thought we were meant to be
Or was that what I wanted to see
There was a point I truly questioned
Did I want to go in this direction
I took some time and had my space
All I could see was the image of your face
I took the step and the chance
Not even at a second glance
I now I lay here all alone
And pine for that hollow tone
I may be young but am not blind
We shared a love you rarely find
You could end us in just one day
Despite what I had to say
You broke my heart
I dove right in, that was not smart
I have time and space again
That love we shared is like a chain
I try move on but am called back
For anyone else they really lack
Anything we really had
No one else could ever add
To that love that we truly had
