LIFE'S A JOURNEY
LILLIAN N.

We journey through our life,
As husband and a wife.

The roads are long and winding,
No telling of it's ending,
Blind turns near, and blinding,
No telling what we may be finding.

At times we learned, it got us down,
We journey through days, with a frown,
Knowing that pain is lurking around,
The journey not set on solid ground,
The barriers aching to be found,
The pain lies dormant, yet astound,
Your hurt, your cries, eventually bound.

Life's journey surely will get rough,
I've thrown my hands in the air,
I've said, "I had enough,"
I've said, "I don't care'"

We had enough of our share,
Life's journey then, appear unfair.

When hurt, and pain,
Thought here to stay,
I simply kneel and pray.

Lord, I want your will today,
Let happiness, Let joy, fill our way,
Just to journey throughout this day.

We got more than our daily need,
It is the happiness, the joy we greed,
The ideal journey we strive to lead.
We need you Lord, Yes, indeed.

The happiness, the joy, The love,
Together forever we will embrace,
With greater smiles upon our face.
