Nativity
Ivan Petryshyn

Dear Baby of Jesus,
paradoxical Child,
when we used all the reason,
but the world is still wild,
we resort to the power of Your heart
and Your eyes,
being old, we request pure thought of the wise
who has governed the world
being fragile and kind,
who has known all the signs
of the real belief,
who has suffered betrayals,
who experienced griefs,
who has moved rocks and seas
with the wave of His hand,
who has known to console,
heal and love, and defend.
Dear Baby of Jesus,
stronger than Universe,-
I say 'thank You, my God',
I recite prayers verses,
and believe that Your Birth
will remake all the world,
stopping deaths and the curses,
and the wrong, and the dirt.
