Evenings’ stop
Üzeyir Lokman ÇAYCI

There’s no light left
Touching my bedside
I’ve exhausted those evenings
In my dreams
A line or two
Embracing my eyes
Feeling a revolution
Within my veins
Cherishing the falling night
Hidden in my dreams
Tumbling shadows
Towards my pupils
Again searching you
Before a statue
Evenings umbulating
Like robins’ chirps
Falling onto the stop
My long gone hope
My feelings
Drag you into my heart.
And..shall never be darkened I say
The evening’s stop...
Shall never be darkened
