Ah, If One Could Change
Üzeyir Lokman CAYCI

Ah, if one could change
the status of certain things,
like looks flowing naturally
that promise carnations.
Without a hand's touch
the plummage of birds
faces the morning
full of peace.
Ah, if one could
broadcast the perfume of roses
everywhere,
rose faces
outflanking men.
Ah, if one could change
the status of certain things.
