Still Without A Name
Üzeyir Lokman CAYCI

I have wanted to draw the ones
stuck in the cracks,
those humiliating efforts of being human
in closed off worlds.
A name hasn't yet been given
to efforts scorned
for eight years and eighteen,
to feelings beneath consideration,
to horizons without a rising sun,
without significance,
there - unseen.
To the passing of being human
from darkness to being completely wet -
and then cast aside.
I have wanted to draw the ones
stuck in the cracks,
those humiliating efforts of being human
in closed off worlds.
